King Sisowath's journey to France in 1906 remains a significant moment in the history of Cambodian-European relations. The Royal Ballet's performances at the Colonial Exhibition in Marseille profoundly influenced European artists and intellectuals.
In honor of this historic legacy, the young and gifted Cambodian pianist Rong Sereyvann presents a special tribute to King Sisowath.
The program features works by Claude Debussy, Maurice Ravel, Erik Satie, Him Sophy and traditional Cambodian folk tunes.
