Mini Concert: Students’ Performance

SoundsKool welcome the month of October by celebrating a Mini Concert!

A Mini Concert was held at #13 St. 178 Phnom Penh Cambodia last Oct. 1, 2017 that showcased the amazing progress of our students on their musical program.  Around 20 confident students performed in the event and dedicated their performances in front of family and friends.

This event is made as a platform for our students to engage with an audience so they can learn how to perform.Beyond that, this kind of activity could help them build their self-confidence.  Without it, it’s too easy to fall into the trap of negativity and self-doubt.

And the worst part about being less confident is that it robs them the enjoyment of playing and the opportunity of even trying.

This is why we encourages our students to participate. We want them to take their chances and realize that it is okay to make some mistakes.

For as Peter T. Mcintyre once said:

“Confidence comes not from always being right but from not fearing to be wrong.”

And we firmly believe that cultivating this kind of mind set will help them learn from their experiences and succeed in life.
